Why Your Soul Needs a Full Moon Ritual for Letting Go

Full Moon Ritual for Letting Go - 2020 Moon Ritual Calendar + Bundle

The process of letting go can be a difficult and painful one. And sometimes it feel as though you are being separated from the very fibers of your soul. We fight to hold onto to people, situations, and even false beliefs of how we think the world should be. But the things that we have so intimately identified with and attached onto are just that: things

In order to fully and completely let go, you must be willing to leave behind the idea of who you thought you should be. Of the vision in your mind of how you thought things would turn out. And ultimately, it means releasing any & all expectations, however painful that may be.

And while this process of confronting specific truths within your soul may be difficult, know that you are not alone on your journey.

I will be the first to admit that I have become accustomed to holding thoughts, stories, and more specifically relationships that are no longer helping me grow & move forward in life. But you see, the process of letting go becomes slightly easier when you realize that the things you are trying so desperately to hold were never yours to keep. They were just distractions and illusions preventing you from moving forward. And the perceived pain behind fully letting go and starting over loses its meaning, and it's hold, when you realize that there is actually nothing being lost nor gained.

So how do we begin this process of letting go?

How do we face the truths within ourselves that we have become so skilled at avoiding?

The answer lies by learning how to connect with the Moon. And if you allow the Moon to be your guide, you will find that letting go is easier than you thought.

Why? Because, my dear, you are infinitely supported by the cosmos.

Below, I have put together three specific reasons why your soul is ready to let go and how performing a Full Moon Ritual aids in that process. (If you want step-by-step Full Moon Ritual steps, then you can upgrade the Moon Ritual Bundle here.)

1) It Give You Space & Time for Your Spiritual Well-Begin

We can so easily put our spiritual work on the back burner. It is unfortunately so easy to avoid doing the inner work that we sometimes put it off completely. But when you align your spiritual practices with the Moon, you will find that each Full Moon acts as your gentle reminded to do the work that needs to be done. Once every 29 days, the Moon becomes full. And when it does, it comes with a unique energy that naturally aids our soul in the letting go process. This means that each month, letting go becomes slightly easier.

By aligning your Full Moon Ritual with the intention of truly letting go, you will find that the process of releasing specific thoughts, people, & situations will feel right on a soul level. There will be less resistance in the process.

The Full Moon is the perfect time for inner reflection and letting go. But without committing to doing the inner work in the form of a ritual, you will see that time so easily passes without anything changes.

2) It Reveals How Holding on is Actually Hurting Us

When you sit down with yourself under the energy of the Full Moon, you find that you can look at certain aspects of your life without judgement or expectations. This allows you to see how specific people, habits or circumstances have become unhealthy and why.

When you show with the intention of being completely honest with yourself, you will find that certain truths come to the surface. There is no need to fear if you will be overwhelmed or afraid of what you might find because the energy of the Full Moon offers a unique feeling of trust and protection while on your journey.

All you need to do is trust in the process and know that whatever comes up for you during your ritual was meant to. Letting go is a process. It is not going to happen all at once. But when you take the time to actually do it, you will gain insight into the things within your soul that you have been holding onto. And by doing so, this practice will reveal to you which attachments are actually far more harmful than valuable.

3) It Gives us the Freedom and Permission to Fully Release

How often do you actually allow yourself to let go? I know it may sound like a funny question but it is a very important one. We spend so much of our time convincing ourselves WHY we need something, that we rarely give ourselves the time to envision what life would be without it.

At the root of all suffering is attachment. When we give ourselves the permission and freedom, even if just for a moment, to experience non-attachment we are showing ourselves what is possible. We are giving ourselves that energetic space to experience a new reality. And we are breaking ourselves free from habitual thought process of needing something outside of ourselves to feel at peace.

You no longer need to convince yourself that you are not capable of letting go of certain aspects of your live or yourselve. Instead, being welcoming that feeling of emotional and spiritual freedom that your soul craves each month with the assistance of the Full Moon.

You are capable. You are powerful. And you are complete as you are.

Your Full Moon Ritual is just you taking the necessary time to remind yourself of such truths each month.

In Conclusion:

As you move forward on your journey and as you explore the uncharted territory of your soul, remember that letting go is a process. You are learning how to return back to confidence and strength that exists within the fibers of your soul. And above all, remember to give yourself the necessary love and compassion as your explore new depths.
